For my classroom management project I struggled finding a reliable tool that would be effective for older students. Then I thought back to when I was a sophomore and what tools my teachers used then.I remembered pocket points being one of my favorite because it gave students rewards inside and outside the class.I took a visit to an old teacher to ask her about how it worked for her and she said the only problem she had was coming up with in class rewards,so I took a mini survey with my class and I came up with this list of rewards based on time not used on phones

4 hours- Snack box

5 hours-Prize Box pull

10 hours-Homework pass/10min brain break pass

20 hours-Choose seat

My goal is to increase productivity in class and minimize phone usage.I am also hoping that as a result of less phones in class, a stronger connection will get built between myself, the teacher and the students. The prize box will include various prizes such as candy, passes from having to enter homework in the computer etc.I also plan on implementing technology into my class with Kahoot based on vocab and formatting.
