The Plan:

Plan an access route / temporary holding area in the dorm (level 2) for students and their equipment belongings to bring to safety

Prepare for safe evacuation

Wait for advise or help from other staff / OPM

- Trigger Points -water level more 1/2 the dorm door kerb, water fall behind DH overflowing, check blockages at storm drains

- Site monitoring and assessment - identify available venues/holding area to evac.

What to do

Evac: Dining Hall, Training Room (according to size of pax/grps)

Identify access routes

Comms everyone (school & whole team) of situation and activation for necessary actions.

Judgement call: to execute regardless if water rising or not. Continue site monitoring

1) Carry on activity as usual, Reroute kids that need to go toilet to use dorm 4. If water level continue to rise, consider letting students to use OAE toilet. Check the water drainage around dining hall ensure its clear.

2) dinning hall group don't have to evac as it's a very unlikely flooding spot. We can prepare and standby for other groups to come to dinning hall.

1) Protection of Property - Items within dorms could be brought up should time permits to allow for comfort

2) During flooding, demarcate movement areas as water slowly rises so kids do not potentially walk into drains as they are being evacuated
