The advantages of Imovie are that you can create a good video; documentary or film type, and it has lots of different tools for you to use. you can save the finished product to your ipad, which makes it easy to access them. there is a wide variety of genres to use, weather a movie or trailer, and the equipment is at an excellent standard.

the disadvantages are that when you first use this app it can be a bit complicated when you don't know where things are and how to use them can be a bit awkward and complicated. Other times it can be too simple and not have enough effects, with the title or the slides don't always work.

when creating the website, this would be great for creating videos and trailers, you can use the audio and music from other apps.

Speaker Studio

The advantages of speaker studio are that there are more thigns you can do with a piece of audio; you can upload them and add sound effects.

The disadvantages are that it is too complicated and that once you have saved the audio to draft you cannot then edit it. Also to upload it yo have to log in or sign up.

The use of this app when creating the website would be if we needed sound effects.

Garage Band

the advantages of garage band are that it is simple and you can create some music or theme tune easily.

the disadvantages are that it is sometimes too simple and a limited range of sounds. Or if you want to use one of the instruments you really do need some experience playing them.

This would be used for creating a theme tune or something similar.

Voice Recorder

The advantages are the fact that this app is simple to use, press the microphone gives you a casset recorder, you just press record, play, stop or save as.

The disadvantages are that you cannot save the recording onto the video section on the ipad but only onto another app or the cloud.

When creating my website this app would be used for when my team are recording an interview and need to simply record what is being said.

Auxy music creation

the advantages of this app are that it is simple to use and you can easily create unusual music and tunes of any length.

the disadvantages are that you do not have the conventional musical instruments.

i would use this app when creating music and a theme tune for my website.

Theme and Menus - you can create your theme by selecting one they give you on a menu. You can do whatever you want for each individual page of you website, whether it be text or quotes or videos.
Home page logo - it gives you a home page that you can write your own descriptions and put your own logo onto.
Website details - on the settings you are able to write the descriptions that people will be able to type into a search engines to find.
Uploading photos and videos - there is a tab on each web page to upload photos and videos, select it and then what you want to use.
Upload audio - you can upload audio you have pre-recorded on each individual page the same way as the videos.
How to publish - go to settings - publish - and click publish website.
The app Simpl lives up to it's name - it is very simple and easy enough to use but you cannot be very creative and make your own designs on anything. I think that it is good for someone who has never created a website before but it is not for someone who wants a technical or high standard website.
