Is this an application that would help users create and use strong passwords?
What are the strengths of such password programs?
What are the weaknesses?
Would you use KeePass?

1. No, not necessarily. It lets users know the strength of their passwords but doesn't force them to create strong passwords.

2. If used properly, they can be very useful in helping users create strong passwords because they wouldn't necessarily need to remember them.

3. Most technology users are not technologically competent, so there could be a huge learning curve that may discourage some users.

4. I'm tempted, but putting all my passwords in digital form still unnerves me. To the best of my knowledge, my brain cannot be hacked. Yet.....

1. Yes, because if someone is trying to hack your machines keystrokes, They will most likely not succeed because you already have the password save on the program.

2. The strengths of this program are not having to type your username and password everytime.

3. The weakness of this program is if someone gets the keystrokes of you typing your master password in, they can probably gain access to your personal data.

4. I would most likely not use it. Just because I do not like the thought of my passwords being stored on a program digitally.

1. Yes i believe it would help with memorization of passwords as well as the complexity.
2. The strengths with these password programs is that it allows the user to use unique and longer passwords without the risk of "forgetting" these difficult and different passwords.
3. The weakness of this application is that if you crack the master password then the hacker has every password you use right there together.
4. yes i will use keepass, i think it's a great idea!

Yes, I think that knowing that a password is not strong would be a good incentive to make it stronger.

2.Strengths would include quick access to your information in a well organized place.

3.A weakness might include that it would only take discovering one password for a physical attack.

4.
