I was able to learn more about my passion and teach the class about it. I loved creating my power point and blog, it really encouraged me to explore more careers dealing with my passion and how i could encourage others to try it out. I am glad I presented this project in front of the class, it made me less scared of public speaking, and for the first time, I actually felt comfortable presenting a power point and blog. The idea of choosing your own topic and showing your passion to others was really great, I was able to explore different careers I had never heard of before. Next time, I would create a more fun product, such as an activity for others to learn how to do digital art. When I heard we could choose our own topic I was so nervously excited. I had so many idea on what to make my project on such as people being criticized for the label they have or how violent our society is. There was too many to choose from I slowly broke down what I wanted to talk about. Then I combined ideas I had together and brought down my option to one, anime. Anime was the ideal option because it showed everything I wanted people to know more about. When I began to research my topic I was super thrilled to learn more than I already know. I found it fascinating how a great number of people also benefited from anime. I really enjoyed being able to express my self through my own creative thoughts instead of just being told what to do. At first I was bit uneasy because I really don't get the chance to create what I want.  If I got another chance to present I would have said more about how anime connects to the real world in many ways than just one. I also would have tried ways for my peers to also gain knowledge from my presentation other than just having them hear what I had to say just like many presentation that we've seen at school.(I don't mean the passion presentations.) My overall opinion on the my presentation was meh, I wouldn't say it was great or amazing but okay enough. The Genius Hour Project was an incredible way for me to be able to show my real self without people criticizing what I love.
