         <description><![CDATA[<pre>While wind energy projects have already attracted an investment of 2 billion euros, and solar parks are seen as the new star of green energy, timid projects are also starting to develop on the local market that make "light" out of wood or waste from biomass.
Broadly speaking, biomass is the biodegradable part of waste or residues from agriculture, forestry, as well as industrial and municipal waste. For example, a woodworking plant produces enough "fuel", that is, wood scrap, which can be used to produce electricity.
The latest data from Transelectrica show that there are currently about 35 MW using agricultural or forestry waste to produce light, which means that the field has already attracted investments of 70 million euros.</pre><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Italian gas giants Eni S.p.A and the Italian Biogas Consortium (CIB) signed an agreement to increase biomethane production from animal waste, industrial agricultural products and meal. Through the member companies of the consortium, Eni will distribute the biomethane from its service points.<br><br>The good news for Italian farmers and biogas energy operators is that the European Commission has approved its program to support the use and distribution of improved biofuel and biomethane from the transport sector.</div>]]></description>
