Had a strong sense of belonging to their place
They were free to move in their place with elegance
They were brave and merciful

Aunt Jennifer:
Timid
Fearful of the uncle
Timid and had lost her sense of freedom
She was possessed by uncle and had nothing of her own
Fluttering hands of aunt while knitting show her anxiety
She was stuck in the vicious cycle of her marriage and the wedding band of the uncle was the symbol of it

Aunt believed that even if she would die her own free self would live forever in the form of her art work
