I think ram time should be changed to become an access time in which students could go ask or sign up for a class/meeting with a teacher and once a month it should be regular Ram time to be able to know what's happening, Thursday should stay the same

I think having as many available “access” slots available to kids is helpful especially since each kid has different circumstances. Some kids can’t get to school early or can’t stay later bc of their parents schedules so having multiple times to choose from helps.

I normally don’t use access in the morning except for Thursday since I’m normally up later because of after school activities so I use that time in the morning to get extra sleep. However, I know that there are a lot of people who do work on stuff in the mornings so I think it’s important to keep that time.

Access is helpful when teachers are available, but most times they aren't there or are in their own meetings.

Access is for kids to come in and gain help or make up tests, quizzes and assignments when they were absent which can allow them the same information that their class received when gone and additional help more one on one.

I get dropped off really early most mornings so even if I’m not going to classes, I use the time to get work done. It’s really helpful if I forgot to get notes or short assignments done before class, I know I have a little bit of time. I do often go to teachers as well, though.

I usually do miscellaneous work, but twice now I’ve needed to finish an essay for Spanish and it’s one of the only times that teacher is available for that long, she usually has meetings or is busy with something else. It’s really nice being able to go in and finish stuff like that.

I would love to see the garden space outside be better utilized and turned into a nice place for kids to hang out in the fall/spring. Better advertise the gardening club and they could probably take care of that area.

It would also be nice to have more picnic tables around so more people could eat lunch outside or just hang out, the ones we have work well but fill up fast.

Also, Rooney and some other elementary schools have outdoor classroom (with stumps or rocks for the kids to sit on), and a few of those would be nice for kids to hang out at before and after school. They would also be nice for English class, especially when teachers want to act out books and plays but don't have enough space in their classrooms.
