The Muslims moved to Madinah after being forced out of Mecca, and they spread their faith throughout the city. They constructed a mosque at Yathrib. Issues spread, with battles often pushing the people to their limits.

Islam spread greatly in Madniah after the construction of the mosque and the conversion of the people. They had to defeat the Persian and Byzantine armies in order to do this. The Byzantines believed that the enemies were the wrath of God. This was an incredible feat because they then controlled a much larger piece of land.
