But he just waited not taking practical actions to access to the Law. He also symbolizes people who are trapped by seemingly insurmountable obstacles (authority, rules, their own cowardice).

"Law" is essentially the set of rules we create within ourselves, and the supposed "doorkeepers" are merely difficulties existing in our imagination. A "law" only truly exists when we consciously acknowledge it. Therefore, we must strive to think and act beyond these self-imposed boundaries. Otherwise, we risk trapping ourselves—unable to enter our desired path—leading only to self-pity and regret.

We think the Law here refers to the restrictions he sets for himself. The doorkeeper is his self-reckoned limits to prevent him from breaking the comfort zone or making progress. And the first doorkeeper symbolizes the first barrier he has to overcome, and the first step is always essential for a person to challenge himself. In the end the story tries to tell us that the real obstacles are actually set by ourselves.

This article mainly tells the story of a man who tried to find Law, but failed until his death. It makes us think about what Law is. We think Law is the man who is looking for the ultimate mystery of life. However, because a man is not brave and persistent enough, he does not get the answer; however, the meaning of his life is always unshakeable. In addition, each of us has and is looking for our own rules of life and mystery, which is the Law mentioned in the article.

The first sentence tells us it is about the law. So most interpretations can be bound into the field of law. One way of interpretation is that the theme is about inaccessibility of legal system — “the man from the country” has been trying to seek legal protection but failed at the end. And it’s like a fable because the two characters, the “law” and the rooms are symbols or metaphors and can be interpreted into many concepts in real life.

The concept of "Law" is inherently abstract, but in the text, it is depicted as a physical place that one can enter. The doorkeeper's refusal to let the "man from the country" enter is also a manifestation of power. The man is extremely persistent; however, due to his lack of courage to break free from the shackles of power, he never gains access to the "place of Law" until his death. This story is utterly absurd.
