I was immediately drawn to this quote due to its erie and mysterious tone. This quote rings true in its literal terms and figurative. Confusion in this case is tied to destruction and can cause a complex web of collateral impacts that all point back to a specific moment. Figurativly speaking, confusion is an art painting a picture of what could happen or what did happen in the mind deciving many. This deception is not easily obtained and takes a skillful artist who can craft the lines perfectly and create specific details to the picture that are precieved as realistic. One who is not so masterful may fail to pay attentions to the small details of their painting and smudge their marks leaving room for questioning and further damage

I had just finished dinner with my boyfriend and sister, my younger sister and I went to watch TV. When my boyfriend walked in I said "confusion now hath made his masterpiece," and he looked at me shook his head and laughed at me.

I was driving with friends talking about shoes when I used the quote after we had gone to 4 different stores for a pair of shoes for Prom even though its in May, they all laughed and thought I made it up.

I also used my quote when talking to Tara about our Calc test that was very hard. She understood why I said it since she is in my English class, but she also understood the context of my quote and our test because our test had everyone confused and lead to the destruction of all grades.

After reading the quote again in context, I have found how the quote has both a figurative and literal meaning. In context confusion means destruction in that the murder of the king left everyone in a confused panic state that ultimately could lead to destruction, which it does through Macbeth. This also foreshadows Macbeths mental state which I found very interesting. Macbeths emotional decline is all related back to the quote and the first time he murders in cold blood. This quote for me personal holds many truths about the play and what Shakespeare hopes to portray to his audience.

The ongoing issue of ISIS presents a similar issue seen in Macbeth and the quote. The corrupt tyrannical rule of Macbeth is parallel to ISIS. The quote is relatable in that acts of terrorism lead people in heart ache and confusion that also leaves a trail of destruction.
