Then, the class will work together and we gather the necessary materials to carry out the ideas that were brainstormed. Students can bring these items home and use them at home to feed some birds. Rather than hurting animals with our waste, we will create things that they can use and help them out!
3. Students will work independently to create a Glogster post about the negative impacts that not recycling could pose on the environment. 2. As a whole class and with collaboration with various adults in the school, the students will work to start a recycling program in the school. There is currently no recycling problem in the school. Every Wednesday and Friday, students will go around to the classrooms during lunch to collect any recyclable items and properly dispose of them. 
3. Students will work together to plant a garden. The garden will be used to highlight the importance of reusing various items that can be used in the garden. I intend to give the students guidance with this, but also a lot of freedom to make choices.
