Cycle 1 – June 27 to July 2

During the first week of classes, we started with online learning. Most mornings, I would wake up early to check Google Classroom for any new announcements or tasks. I’d usually have breakfast after a quick shower and begin working on assignments. There were days when we had live online sessions, but some subjects were asynchronous, so I used the time to catch up on previous tasks.

By the weekend, I used my time to help with chores at home, like doing the laundry with my mom or helping my dad in the kitchen. I also had time to rest and enjoy playing computer games, especially in the evenings. Saturdays and Sundays were usually spent helping around the house, catching up on sleep, and relaxing after a week of school work.

Cycle 2 – July 7 to July 15

As the second cycle began, we continued with a blended setup of online and occasional face-to-face classes. I made it a habit to wake up early, check our class group chat, and plan my day around the announcements and tasks. There were times when classes got canceled due to weather, but I used those moments to get ahead on schoolwork or help my parents at home.

Even with fewer live sessions, I stayed productive. I spent my afternoons either doing assigned tasks or helping out with household responsibilities like preparing meals or running errands. On rest days, I allowed myself some free time to play games and hang out online with friends, which helped me unwind.

Cycle 3 – July 16 to July 28

This cycle was heavily affected by a strong storm that hit our area. Originally scheduled for face-to-face classes, we had to suddenly shift to full online learning. Some classes were disrupted or delayed, but our teachers quickly adjusted and provided asynchronous materials and updates through our group chats and Google Classroom.

Because of the storm, I stayed indoors most of the time. Power interruptions and unstable internet made attending classes a bit challenging, but I managed by following up on lessons during calmer hours. We also canceled a group project meeting due to the bad weather, but thankfully we rescheduled it and were able to meet once the rain lightened up. Despite everything, I still managed to study, complete assignments, and help out at home when needed.

Cycle 4 – July 29 to August 5

By this time, things started to return to normal. We resumed our regular online class schedules, though some were still postponed or shortened to give us more time to recover from the recent disruptions. I spent most of my mornings preparing for online sessions, checking deadlines, and working on activities.

I became more consistent with my routine, waking up early, attending classes, doing schoolwork, and helping out around the house. On days without class, I used my time to review lessons or finish pending requirements. Even though balancing everything can be tiring, I’ve learned how to manage my time better, especially with unexpected changes like weather disturbances.
