1. Reason - as coleridge have said, "suspension of disbelief talks about an individual's willed choice that constitutes to a poetic faith" the fact that he said that it is a willed choice to believe the unbelievable implies that this isn't a straight line idea or fact but people go through a moment of whether they want to accept the scenario as believable/realistic or not. it is their choice to choose.
2. Emotion
how people chose to disbelief based on their emotions. they use this as a process of their reasoning, or decision - making.
3. Faith
the fact that we believe the unbelievable, amounts to a kind of faith.
4. Memory
when an unrealistic scenario happens to someone, memory could be the basis of their reasoning or decision - making process. in the past, they might see similar things either in TV, or testimonies and so it is planted in their mind already that such things can happen to them and it does make sense to them just because they've seen it before in the past.
5.

"Suspension of disbelief" relates to scenarios that we tend to believe it's true just for the sake of enjoyment/we think it's something we've never seen before, something cool, however not entirely realistic and logical. In conclusion, for knowledge to be gained, a person needs to suspend a disbelief.
"sake of enjoyment" - this relates to our emotions and how we make our decisions on what we believe is true is based on our emotions/feelings.

Art is a lie that makes us realize truth, at least the truth that is given us to understand. The artist must know the manner whereby to convince others of the truthfulness of his lies... I would like to know if anyone has ever seen a natural work of art. Nature and art, being two different things, cannot be the same thing. Through art we express our conception of what nature is not.”- art in its own form is an artificial work, an illusion. it uses all kinds of artistic/stylistic elements such as the use of colors, lines, even the concepts make it look realistic to us. these are used to convince the audience that it is realistic. it has an emotional appeal to the readers.
Picasso on Cubism
"A World History of Art" - the aim is not to reconstitute an anecdotal fact, but to constitute a pictorial fact.
Question to find out: What is the main difference of anecdotal - pictorial fact?
Anecdotal fact is something that is based on real data or information whereas pictorial fact uses more of images/pictures, graphics, etc.

What is cubism and its relation to this?

Discoveries of Samuel Taylor Coleridge
(specifically on literature)
"suspension of disbelief" talks about an individual's willed choice that constitutes to a "poetic faith"
the word "willed" or "willing" plays an important role in his definition because this shows that it's a choice that people chose, still have to go through a decision - making process. that is why it involves reasoning and how emotion is involved in the decision - process because that "sake of enjoyment" is the reason why they chose to believe the unbelievable. or how memory can also contributes to the process. maybe people watch news, stories that make this be planted in their mind: such scenarios or events can happen realistically and it does make sense. "because i have seen it before so why would it be possibly different for me this time?"

This might be a possible counterclaim perhaps
RLS: my mom's miracle
an accident that she went through before she had children. an accident that resulted her having a busted mouth and injured nose. right after the accident, a lot of people surrounded her car, moving it from side to side which made her feel panic and scared/anxious. she was half conscious as well so she felt like her body couldn't move. moments later, a man knocked at her window asking her to open the door and for some reason she opened it and the man actually carried her outside through that window. the next thing she knew, she was already lying down on the hospital bed. She believed that it was an angel who saved her, sent from God, because when her father wanted to thank the man through a call and even through finding his home address, the phone number and home address didn't exist.
angels, let alone miracles are things that are not realistic if we see it from this worldly view. it would be a different case if we see it based on our faith/belief and religion. However, it still does work, the idea that she chose to "believe the unbelievable". her argument can be supported from her learning experiences and what she was told to belief when going to church or reading the bible. or even listening to other testimonies.
