Since 1982, his campaign is to Keep Prince William Beautiful.
His challenge to PWCS schools is:
     "How do we keep our neighborhoods and community welcoming and green?'
      - He helps create government partnerships to keep certain road areas clean, litter free and picked up.
     - When local businesses go green such as Walmart, (by decreasing their packaging), we have a more vibrant economy.
     - We experience economic vitality - home values increase and our county becomes more desirable to live in.
     -His job is to figure out how to get people engaged on what we do and discover the value in that.
      
Health & Wellness - "Do Beautiful Things" series:
           1. Figure-scape painting
           2. Nature Walks
           3. Yoga Series
     - The end has now become the means.

Prince William County's goal is to:
     Be a leader, Be Growing, and Go from Excellence to  
                                    Eminence
All this is built on oursustainable practices.

                             RECYCLING BOWL
Competition among schools - we must sign up by October 13th.  This is a 4 week race to see what school collects the most recycling. the winner gets a dedicated                                      Park Bench!

Only 58% schools recycle nationally...

Last year we earned $1,800 that we put toward the new recycling garbage cans you see out in the sports fields and a special recycling container for batteries.
