The children’s section is designed to help young readers learn through technology.

It has the first “maker space” in a library, aimed at developing creativity and children’s problem-solving skills through DIY learning materials, crafts and puzzles.

It's a great space to read and work - has lots of nooks and crannies, beautiful design, and lots of spaces to sit down and read. However, there aren't that many books available! (e.g. Men in White has at least 200 copies in other libraries, with at least 10 in AMK Public Library, Central Public Library, Bedok Public Library, etc. But 0 at library@orchard)

It's written as a whodunnit novel in a sci-fi setting (and is part of a great series of sci-fi "space opera" books called the Vorkosigan Saga spanning many genres), but is very readable and has a lot of life lessons - from dealing with failures and how to come back from them.
