Grandpa Will is reviewing the Holocaust on the television and is upset with the Nazis for killing his family. The setting is a little chaotic because everyone is doing different things. One of their traditions is for the youngest to take the afikoman and hide it from the rest of the family for them to try and find.

1. Who is your main character? How would you describe him/her?
The main character of my book is a girl named Hannah. Hannah is very persistent because she knows that she doesn't belong in this time period and she is trying everything to get back home.
2. Who are some secondary characters and why are they important to the story?
Some other important characters in the book are Rivka and Gitl because Rivka is trying to help Hannah survive in the Holocaust. Gitl is also very close to Hannah and tries to do everything that she can to protect her.
3. What is the problem or conflict of the book?
The main problem or situation withing the story is Hannah being stuck in an unknown time and being stuck in a concentration camp.
4. How is the main character trying to resolve the problem?
The main character is trying to solve their problem by learning about how to survive in the Holocaust. Hannah doesn't remember exactly where she is from anymore but at times she can remember small pieces such as what her brother said in the beginning of the book.
5. What do you like so far about the book? AND WHY.
So far, my favorite part of the book is when Hannah gets her tattoo. This part may seem very sad but I enjoy it because when she has the connection with the "tattoo artist" I think that the book gives a feeling that everything is going to be alright.
6. What don’t you like so far about the book? AND WHY.
What I don't like so far about the book is the fact that no noe is listening to Hannah's ideas. If they had listened to her in the first place they wouldn't be in the concentration camp or in this kind of trouble. Now many of her "family and friends" are not getting proper care and dying from the the Nazis unfair treatment.
