I chose pop live Loops (to make the background music) because it is fast and energetic.I think that fast music matches eating locally because it is exciting and fun to learn about. I chose the music because it matches me and the way I think of life.

 The music was layered with me and one of my friend’s voice because our voices go well together.This song links to my exhibition topic because the words talk about local food and what you can do to eat it you can also hear these instruments:

During this project I learned to never give up and keep on trying because sometimes it would be a bit frustrating to record and then realise something is not right so you have to start again and again. i enjoyed making my music and singing along with my friend. It was so much fun and so exciting.

The most challenging part of this project was to sing with my friend at the same time as the music because it went so fast.But we never gave up and so we made a good song. I am very proud of myself.

Title of piece: The Thinking Truck

Description: My exhibition topic is about local and seasonal food. 

I chose to do this topic as I think that eating locally and seasonally is important for us and the environment as it reduces the distance food travels and pollution produced. 

My first idea was to just make a truck and write “ local ” on it. But then I improved my idea by actually making fruits and vegetables out of clay, then painting them and then sticking in on my 3D truck that I made out of cardboard using recycled materials.

I found it challenging to make the fruit and vegetables out of clay because there are a lot of details to make.

I am proud of everything but mostly about my truck that I made out of cardboard which was tricky but I made it!
