2. Number of French speakers:
- 120 million students are currently learning French, besides the 80 million native speakers in the world.  There are an estimated 187 million non-native and partial speakers, which are increasing. Due to the growth of population in Africa, where approximately 50% of native French speakers live, the total number of French speakers could rise to as much as 700 million by 2050. 

3. Fun facts:
-French doesn't have any words with "W." If you find a French word with a w in it, it's only because it's a borrowed word from a different language. 
-French is the only language spoken on all the continents, besides English.
