         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like having students answer questions in their own words verbally when I'm informally assessing in my classroom. Since I'm assessing their understanding, not the language itself, it gives the students the ability to express themselves comfortably and I can still determine whether they understand the material. After that point sprinkle in the essential academic language and it's all good!</div>]]></description>
