Mexico is a big country, just south of the United States. Itś filled with a lot of different landforms. Mexico is a poor country, that has a rich history. Was previously ruled by the Aztecs and was later taken over by the spanish. Then, the Spanish got overruled by the Mexican natives.

In Canada, there is a theme park that is very popular called Canada’s Wonderland. This year, it is adding a new ride, the 17th, called the Yukon Striker. This ride will have one of the largest drops and will be a big tourist attraction.

This article talks about how large South America is. It’s so big, that it can be split into three different regions. These three regions are the mountains and highlands, the river basins, and the coastal plains. Each have their own distinct traits. For example, the mountains and highlands contain peaks above 15,000 ft.

On November 13th, 2018, it is officially 100 years since the end of the first World War. This talks about some people and how they are feeling, (usually emotional). They interview someone and they talk about the toll on those that are still alive.

This front page is focusing on the death of Stan Lee, the creator of MARVEL Comics. He died on the 12th due to old age, and at the age of 95. Stan Lee touched many people's hearts with his comic books, and his death left a big impact on the rest of the world.

This article is about things you should do or places you should visit if you go to Ottawa, Canada’s capital. You can visit a canal, the Rideau Canal to be exact. You can also visit Parliament hill and also the parliament buildings.

Unlike the U.S., Canada is less strict on the immigration topic. The U.S. has a lot of intolerance, racism, and inequality, where Canada is almost the complete opposite. They like to think of themselves as multicultural. This they except all cultures in their country and don’t discriminate them. There are always still some that do though.

In September of 2017, in El Salvador, young people, mostly innocent, are finding themselves in a rut. With war between gangs and the state, younger people didn’t have as much freedom. They had to watch out for themselves wherever they went. They even had a hard time paying attention in school.

In February of 2017, Mexico was going through a drought, or a period of time without water (rain). Also, due to climate change, it was also falling apart. Schools and other buildings were crumbling, and the roads were split open. This had to be bad for them, and what made it worse was that the country is broke.

This article was about how South America had earlier inhabitants than we thought. New bone fragments have been found that date back to around 11,000 years. We had previously thought that the earliest inhabitants were from around 9,000 years ago, but they also found a baby’s skeleton from 13,000 years ago.

Anything war related interests me, and if I could be talking to a person who's kind of living through it, I feel like that'd be pretty cool.

This book was a well written one. To me, though, this book was a little boring. Mainly because of the topic I think. It tells the story of El Gato is a fictional way to make it seem entertaining. Soccer isn't really my kind of sport, and that's what the whole book focused on. I'm sure that if the book was about another kind of sport or maybe even video games, I'd feel more interested. Other than that though, the book had a good flip at the end, and ended in a way people are okay with, unlike a cliff hanger, you know?
This book could matter to everyone because it talksabout ways you can overcome your fears, and bullying, and other things that could potentially bring you down.
https://sites.google.com/s/1cpamg6YcLfKyiwDi8-7EHXezsjGnJ6OB/p/1INBHS3pjVY_7ju3cqfDrbTQ5bYfpHmim/edit

For my groups cultural exchange project, we studied and presented the culture of Mexico. We read multiple books that take place in Mexico, and follow along the same kind of traditions. This was done througout the whole year, and we wrote down a bunch of like notes about it after each one, getting more information towards the new materials we learn. when it came about time to start, we split our group up to do different parts. I worked on the travel presentation and the board with Jessica. When it came time to present, we realized that were were fully prepared to start, and we sort of had to improvise. I think it ended up pretty well, but we could've done better.

Writing the Historical Fiction Essay was okay for me I think. The writing part of it wasn't hard. The hard part about it I think was just coming up with the material to write about. If He would've made the essay have to be shorter, I think it would've been easier for everyone. Otherwise, I think its a good idea to get everyone to try and piece things together about a book. The book was good enough to be able to do this so I think that it was good to do this. I didn't like it though.
The essay can be important to me and everyone around the world because I connected events in the book to events in real life, and that just goes to show how out of shape the world is right now.
