Extra codes are printed and posted so that students cannot just look for "any" code. Instead, they must find the codes on their map. Each code is linked to a spoken file saying a letter or number followed by verbal directions to the next code.  For example, the first clue they click and hear is "Write down the letter C on your map. Now, go down the hallway, look for the third room on the left. Go in the room and look under the teacher's desk."  The students follow that to the next clue location where they click the code and hear "Good work. Write down the letter 'Q' on your map.  Now, go back into the hallway, turn right, and..." and so on.

I decided to plan this activity for a group of students that are rather “serious” adults. The class I am teaching is blended, and I am teaching it for the first time. Therefore, I have been struggling to find a balance in my lesson plan for each F2F lesson. I love the idea of using QR codes in order to make the class a lot more dynamic, so I decided to take the plunge and have the Hunt with them. I hope they like it.
