All three of these tools would be helpful for students because it would allow the students to be able to write in different ways. Each of the three applications allows the students to be able to write in different ways. They are all different in that scanning allows a student to take a picture of what they wrote on paper and to read it out loud. The student can type a piece of their writing and have it be read out loud by the speaking part.
Prizmogo: can translate and would help with an ENL student as a way of communicating or understanding the content area.
speechify: If someone is non verbal and needs help speaking out they can use this device as a communication device.
Envision: read off someones handwriting, and would read it off correctly, this would be helpful for a student who may not be able to understand another students hand writing, or a teachers handwriting to clarify what the student was thinking.

The three apps are similar because they all help students read text aloud. They are different because they all need different forms of documents to read. Some of them are harder to use than others and not all of them are accurate.
Speechify allows you to read the text that you have loaded or type in. Prizmo is only paper and can scan in worksheets and the app will read to you. Envision will tell you what objects are in the room. Lastly VocalEyes was an app that was not reliable and crashed.

Each of the applications are similar in the sense that they make texts accessible to diverse learners. The texts read aloud text after scanning them. Speechify varies from the other two because it does not offer an option to type within the text. PrizmoGO is different from the other two as it allowed us to type within the text, in case the text-to-read feature did not appropriately gather the words on the text. The last app is different from the other two because it offers options to go beyond the text to make the world around someone accessible by reading colors, for example.

All the tools are ways to assess your students electronically. Kahoot is not only competitive but is engaging but ranking can be turned off if competitiveness becomes an issue within the classroom. Immediate feedback is provided for Kahoot which can sometimes lead to students becoming frustrated. Socrative allows the teacher to create their own quizzes but you can also use assessments created by other educators. I find that Socrative is more difficult to use than Kahoot and Polleverywhere. Polleverywhere is better to use with older students because students can build off of other responses.

One pro of the Kahoot is that it is fun and engaging. One con is that students can see how their classmates are doing. Immediate feedback may stress the students out.
One pro of the poll everywhere is that it allows teachers to have quick results and the students do not have a time limit to respond. One con is that not all students may not have a device.
One pro of the socrative is that you can use other teachers quizzes if they align with your lesson. One con is that it is difficult to use and make the quizzes in comparison to Kahoot and Poll Everywhere.

Socrative, polleverywhere and kahoot are ways to assess students. Socrative allows you to align standards with the quiz. Teachers can gain a greater sense of student thinking and understanding by using socrative. Kahoot is a swift way for students to assess students, as it is engaging and competitive. Lastly, poll everywhere allows students to access the thinking of one another, and even critique it.
