Each of the three applications allows the students to be able to write in different ways. They are all different in that scanning allows a student to take a picture of what they wrote on paper and to read it out loud. The student can type a piece of their writing and have it be read out loud by the speaking part. 
Prizmogo: can translate and would help with an ENL student as a way of communicating or understanding the content area.
speechify: If someone is non verbal and needs help speaking out they can use this device as a communication device.

They are different because they all need different forms of documents to read. Some of them are harder to use than others and not all of them are accurate.

Kahoot is not only competitive but is engaging but ranking can be turned off if competitiveness becomes an issue within the classroom. Immediate feedback is provided for Kahoot which can sometimes lead to students becoming frustrated. Socrative allows the teacher to create their own quizzes but you can also use assessments created by other educators. I find that Socrative is more difficult to use than Kahoot and Polleverywhere. One pro of the poll everywhere is that it allows teachers to have quick results and the students do not have a time limit to respond.  One con is that not all students may not have a device.
