         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Indeed, the Indian Constitution is supposed to protect tribal interests. Tribal in India are also protected under the PESA Act that was in acted on December 24, 1996 to enable tribal self rule in these areas.<br><br>Article 46 of the Constitution provides that the State shall promote with special care the educational and economic interests of the weaker sections of the society and in particular, of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and shall protect them from social injustice and all forms of exploitation.<br><br>RAHINI BANSAL VII B </strong></div>]]></description>

         <title>DRESS AND ORNAMENTS JARAWAS WEAR</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Though the Jarawas didn't use any apparel to cover their bodies, but recently some of them use clothes occasionally, collected from different sources.<br><br>Some of them collect clothes not for the purpose of wearing them, but to make ornaments from the threads.<br><br>Ornaments of the Jarawas are divided into two types- permanent and temporary.<br>Permanent- Made out of shell and cotton threads or wool.&nbsp;<br>Temporary- Made out of flowers, fruits and tender seasonal leaves.
