         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Project Title</strong>: Back to the 20-s - Drive-In Cinema"<br>The Project is about a drive-in cinema for students at Caprivi Campus of the University of Osnabrueck.<br><br><strong>Project aim</strong>: The main aim of the event is to increase the emotional welling being of students lifes after covid pandemic. Furthermore the university want to adapt new enrolled students who spend their first semester back at university after 1 1/2 years of online classes.<br><br><strong>Project objectives</strong>: Students need to get their freedom back by joining student events planned by the university. The drive-in cinema is an event where students can get together and socializing among other students. By building this community event, students can reduce stress and see each other face to face after months of lockdown.<br><br><strong>Geographic location:</strong> Caprivi Campus, University of Osnabrück (Applied Science)<br><br><strong>Key target group:</strong> Students (first semester and "lockdown" semesters)<br><br><strong>Duration:</strong> Preparation time is 6 weeks (17.10.-28.11.). Event takes place on 28th of November 2021 at 4 pm.<br><br><strong>Key activities: </strong><br>A: Find a drink and food supplier by connecting with known contacts from university. <br>B: Get together with the cinema passage in Osnabrück and discuss the conditions of funding the project as well as lending the screen, technique and lightening. <br>C: Train staff: Supervisor, cashier, car allocator and food &amp; drink service.<br><br><strong>Budget</strong>: 5000 pounds<br><br><strong>Main deliverable</strong>: One time drive-in cinema event including a "back to the 20's theme party" and showing a film surprise.<br><br><strong>Success criteria</strong>: Sell 90% of tickets to students. Find at least one sponsor (cinema passage) which pays the GEMA fees. Get 80% good recommendations and publish a newspaper article to draw attention.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Project Title: Fenthe tie-dyeing exhibition<br><br><strong>BACKGROUND&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Waltham Forest Borough comprising four urban districts, namely, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford, and Walthamstow is notorious for its culture and art history. Its council, Waltham Forest, is famous for creating culture and art events. The project is to complement the strategy of Waltham Forest Council programme for culture and art, designed to promote the traditions and values of its diverse set of people including Sierra Leoneans, in order to enhance cohesion and a sense of belonging amongst them. This will help to maintain a deep and long understanding of Waltham Forest's values for cultures and arts.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Project Title:</strong> Once upon a time..<br>A reading of cultural fairy tales, from children to older adults with or without dementia. <br><br><strong>Aim:<br></strong>Dementia is a brain disorder that affects communication and performance of daily activities. Studies have shown that the intergenerational time between older adults and children seems to be beneficial for both involved. The effect that children have is significant, especially for older adults with dementia and children who have fewer behavioral challenges. <br><br>The project has been designed to improve the quality of life for older adults who are living with dementia and improved social development for the children. <br><br><strong>Objectives:</strong><br>To engage the older adults who live in care homes to communicate and be a valuable part of the local community.<br>To increase the engagement levels of persons with dementia and with the children to build a strong relationship.<br>To explain the rising numbers of dementia and to investigate why these numbers are expected to increase in coming years. <br>To investigate how we can reduce the risk of developing dementia naturally. <br><br><strong>Geographic location:</strong><br>The Waltham forest council runs 3 residential care homes. <br><br><strong>Key target group:</strong><br>Residents in care homes and children aged 8-11 years old from the local schools. <br><br><strong>Duration: </strong><br>1st November 2021 - 17th December 2021. <br><br><strong>Key activities: </strong><br>Search for the material needed and procure these materials.<br>Research on an understanding of dementia.<br>Contact the residential care homes' manager and schools' headteacher.<br>Contact a drink and food supplier (known in care home) for the attendances.<br>Create a pamphlet to provide brief information for dementia and the festival.<br>Contact a printer service. <br>Allocate the project training staff<br><br><strong>Budget:</strong><br>Three thousand Pounds (£3000).<br><br><strong>The main deliverable:</strong><br>The main deliverable is communication. <br>Reading stories reversibly. As mentioned in the strategy, the council is experiencing a big challenge in terms of physical inactivity among residents This project is to compete this challenge by engaging women and older people as a target group in a run/walk activity to complement the strategy of Waltham Council for Sport and physical activity and to promote the health and the wellbeing of diverse set of people.
