The many opportunities for interaction between teachers in internal workgroups and networked, fees, common design team stimulate initiatives and integration / exchange of ideas, knowledge, methodologies (workshops, bridge classes, open classes, loans between teachers) delineating environments with a high rate of communication and inter-professional dialogue. This allows you to call into question rigid and traditional teaching models, to promote instead the development of procedural skills (working method, practical knowledge, learning control strategies) combined with the mastery of languages, forms of expression and communication

Fundamental also appears the relationship with the territory favored by the location of schools on a homogeneous governed by the same local authority area: territorial location promotes consultation between the school and the administrative political parties in terms of educational policy in the belief that the school is not a "debt public ", but a laboratory of culture and social growth, worthy of investment, as a provider of training and education, provided through which each acquires the right and duty of full citizenship.

Here goes also underlined the importance of the relationship between school authorities and local associations: the well-established relationship between the school community and the territory helps to enrich the educational offer of the schools and at the same time tends to enhance the traditions and attachment of every citizen to their roots. The plan of training facilitates the relationship of the school with the outside world, "the mission" which must always be based on openness, transparency and user precise information about what is actually done by the school during the school year.

However I think that all these parties he recited as stakeholders have got very different interests in changing the school system. This can obviously be good on the one hand, but on the other hand it can also result in lots of negative things (e.g. lobbyism in schools, too many objectives for schools and no money to fund them).

Education is changing and nowadays, when new technologies have revolutionized our way of life, we must also revolutionize the way we teach by harnessing the full potential of these new tools. Teachers and students have to adapt to a new model of teaching. It is clear that all stakeholders should be involved because only then can this innovative project be successful: teachers, school leaders, ICT experts, technology companies, students, parents, ... all will have to give their contribution, and all are important, although I consider that teachers and students are the most important because they are the main actors in the teaching-learning process. There is an urgent need to innovate and new ideas must be followed, new trends leading to significant changes in this process in order to create Innovative Learning Scenarios, for example using the personal devices that students now have at their disposal, such as smartphones or tablets. Teachers need to be updated so that school can keep up with the new trends that future will bring.

The school, despite being a closed physical space, cannot live without involving the stakeholders. Walls cannot exist with regard to necessary changes. To think of change is to "leave" those walls, without fear of involving other people. The role of stakeholders is very important at school. All stakeholders are important and should be involved. I think that in most situations, stakeholders - students (current and former students), parents, teachers, school management, local government, and youth associations are the ones who can contribute most and help change. We don´t live alone.Trends are a important part of scenario development. Like Roger says, trends are a gradual change over time, not always immediately apparent, having potential long-term impact. We need to look at trends to send back, take a "helicopter view" (day-to-day routine). This trends assert some control over the future (they shape the future classroom and stakeholders are at the mercy of them or, they can be harnessed to create the future classroom stakeholders wish to see).If we understand the trends and direct them we have the opportunity to create the room that everyone wants.

I agree with Roger's arguments, it is critical that all stakeholders are involved, but it is also important to properly define the roles and responsibilities. I think the most important stakeholder is the Ministry of Education, but also the other are essential because the formation of young people is a complex action, long and extremely delicate which requires a collective and sustained commitment of all.

Schools are used to implement changes that are conceived by the national ministry, which is normal and shows a national strategy for education, including new trends. But I consider that every school, big or small, must identity its own needs in terms of teachers' training and dealing with trends. It happens when teachers sit down together with their school board (the head of the school should plan a coherent strategy, but the rest of the teaching staff can bring wonderful ideas), the students' parents, the students and local authorities, for example local school inspectorate or private companies where students get the initial professional training. All we need is to be aware of our teaching practice and the way the technology is used inside and outside the school. The change, step by step, will come if there is commitment to progress.

I think this could change if schools would include parents more. This could show them what we really do and what we want to achieve. In this way they would care more and help more. This would be a starting point of including other stakeholders and then maybe the government would care more.

The most important stakeholders are parents, teachers and students. In Italy there is a particular situation: parents are involved in the primary school.

I believe that each stakeholder in the educational system is essential to the success of educational goals. Every different stakeholder plays a different, significant role in support of the educational system. For example, school board members, administrators and teachers, they each one want their work to have a positive impact on children. Parents desire a successful education for their children, while students themselves have an interest in receiving a good education. The community as a whole is a stakeholder in its educational system. This is because local schools educate future employees, business owners... even community leaders! A good education program builds a stronger community by better preparing its students to be successful community members............
Besides, trends or tendencies can be taken into account in school development planning and designing effective teaching and learning. Trends themselves do not cause educational change, but they can be a necessary condition for innovation in teaching and learning. Nowadays, a number of trends in educational technology and practice will have an impact on teaching and learning in the next years.

This is like a chain in which each element is essential if you really want to success. It doesn´t matter if you are a ‘small’ piece of this chain or not because every single stakeholder matters and the most important thing is to make sure everybody works towards a common goal. For example from a point of view as teacher (That´s my role so that´s the best example I can think of)… What happens if you work in a school in which parents are not supportive, technology is not a priority so it´s poor and for example school leaders are not interested in innovation? Definitely, we need to have a common vision and make sure every single stakeholder is ready to make a change otherwise is going to be hard.

I agree that we should consider trends, but only the ones that last long enough to have some impact on our students. Without stakeholders support school would cease to exist. Therefore, we need all students, teachers, school boards, staff, parents, local authorities and enterprises to work together in a way to develop our students’ knowledge, both in theory and in practice, making them better prepared, conscious and responsible adults. I think that even small schools like mine in an interior village of the country benefit from engaging all possible stakeholders to make the learning process more interesting and effective. As far as trends are concerned, I think we should always take them into account even if they change so quickly because they might be important for students at some point in their lives. They allow us to stop and reflect on what has be done and what might change.

I agree that involving stakeholders to every serious innovation applied to school is important not only because of possible oppositions you may face unless they are not but also because of their important role. The most important of them are the main parts of the educational society, in other words students and teachers…Without their support, no kind of educational innovation or change can succeed. Also, we should not forget parents and parental councils, and the local government, whose opinion may play a significant role in some cases. In general, the role of each possible stakeholder should be considered carefully in such cases. On the other hand, although trends tend to change quite quickly nowadays, they should be considered carefully for a better understanding of each specific situation, and for understanding and controlling future as much as possible.

The idea of school as a global community has definitely replaced that of a closed environment: we can't even thinking of starting a process of innovation without involving other actors inside and ouside of the school. We need the support of all the people who have whatever kind of investment in the school, as Dr Rogers underlines. In my view, some stakeholders should have a more active role than others in designing and implementing a learning scenario, namely the teachers, the families and the employers: all of them are strongly interested in having young people be competent, motivated and able to cope with the challenges of an ever changing world. Besides, we need to consider the most valuable trends, mostly in education sciences. I mean that not any trend, despite how widely they may affect a temporary vision, is worth taking into account when designing scenarios. The effectiveness of a trend should be verified in the light of the most enduring views that human sciences have been supporting in the decades.

Let's ask parents to show us how things ought to be done in the classroom... or even worst let's have "foundations" or private institutions integrate financially or get involved with the way our work ought to be done. Surely i'd love some sort of collaborations in many aspects of my work in the classroom with stakeholders but still i couldn't agree more with some collegues that everyone should be well aware of their role and function in this system. The last thing i'd want is to have my work undermined by a manager or an economical employer who'd dicatate technocratic practices in a state school.

I think stakeholders can help teachers and students realize what can produce innovation and make school interact with the society in the right way but they have to work together, gathering the same meetings in order to let teachers and students understand what the trends are but also in order to listen to them in order to combine school expectations with society expectations. Stakeholders should sit on the same table and discuss and do projects together, according to me. I think the local government is a good stakeholder because there are special needs in every local situation which need to be understood and which can be better understood if it is shared by the entire society.

Having people outside of education having an influence around our classrooms can be really beneficial, particularly when looking at aspects like employment and the future. As trends change, having different perspectives on addressing how to make change is important in achieving the best practice. Collaboration between stakeholders could help shape the way education is within the 21st century.

Students? Teachers? Maybe both and then involving the others groups interested. What happens in classroom affects most directly students but what school management and teachers must always keep in mind is that building learning experiences that are effective, needs to be framed in a social, economic and scientific context. So school must involve outside groups as employers, ex-students, parents and community to assure different views of what happens and should be happening. But, from my point of view and taking into account the situation in my country, it is esential to get the local and national administration involved. Teachers do realize that a chnge is needed in education. Society moves faster than ever nowadays and there is an URGENT need for INNOVATION in EDUCATION (in capital letters). As far as the national education administration insist on imposing traditional exam policies and rigid curricula, teachers will have a diddicult path. So, from my point of view the "order of involvement" can be this: 1º-School management & teachers; 2º- students & families; 3º- regional & national governments.
Once we get this, we can move on.

A scenario can be regarded as a story about the way the world (education) might turn out tomorrow so more people are involved it will be more successful. Of course, there are also teachers, parents and students, but school board and school principal must coordinate and manage whole process, they have to summarize all the ideas, proposals, strategies, and look for trends. They should look for trends because scenario building is a long-term process, why invest in something that will last for a year or two.

We should firstly consider school administrators, local national education institutions, parents, students but the ideas from other stakeholders can be considered to some extent for a successful progress. The roles of trends are immense. We should choose the most suitable ones for our needs and this requires the collaboration and active participation of all stakeholders. Responsibility and being open to innovation are important. As much as I see, it is really essential to break some prejudices in the first step

Stakeholders should definitely be involved in any changes in the classroom, but the problem is that they are sometimes disinterested, or are unable to help in ways we want them to. For example, I think that it is extremely important to get all the stakeholders on board with something (a c hange, a project, etc.). However, teachers and/or headmasters are most often the drivers of change and are willing to implment a project of change - the problem arises with involving the local and national government. There is often the question of funds, and while the governemnt is happy to provide vocal support, it rarely translates into some kind of funding. That usually means that the projects, even after showing positive results, are discontinued because of lack of funding. In terms of ICT changes in classrooms, this might be reverse, beacuse the government in Croatia is struggling to show any improvement in classrooms and maybe willing to invest some money into modernizing classrooms around the country. However, this would be pointless, unless all the teachers and headteachers were on board and kept an open mind about using ICT in the classroom, which in case of Croatia is not alway so.

I think it is important for schools to involve different stakeholders into the teaching/learning process because the educational process has to be transparent and open. We as teachers need to socialize and communicate with the stakeholders, as well as anticipate the modern trends in the society. The innovative process in the classroom or paradigm shift cannot be realized by the classroom teacher only. The more people are involved, the more support we can get.

Ministry of Education - there should be bigger talk about innovations
and the load of knowledge, information students must be taught. If you have projects, you can teach a lot of skills, a topic in deep detail, etc., but you cannot cover in a year so many topics. Moreover, if we let students choose what they want to study.
1. The management of school
2. the teachers - they will need training. Are they willing to? Some teachers are not that is the fact. Can you order them to? You will need a hard-working and motivating management that would be inspiring enough to make the teacher work and want.
