Parent partnerships are key in order for children to get the most out of their early years experience. If parents feel comfortable being in an early years setting, then it helps the child to feel comfortable being there too. Parents are able to tell the EYFS staff any concerns or worries they may have about their child, so that it can be looked into, and also allows them to share information about any new levels of development. Parents know their children best, and so can offer advice to the EYFS staff in order to ensure that their transition is smooth, and to ensure that the staff can cater to the child's need, such as how best they learn, whether that be outdoors, drawing etc. Some children have disabilities or specific needs that need to be taken into account to provide the children with the best possible experience at early years settings, that parents can discus with staff.
