Fatigue

Last Friday was a tiring day. I spent the whole day doing lot of activities and had no time to take a rest.

First, I went cycling to school in the morning. Then, I studied until 12.00. After school, I went to badminton practice in the field.

It was a hard training day and drained my energy.

After that, I went home and took a shower. Before getting ready to sleep, I remembered that there were homeworks and some projects I still had to do.

I did my homework until 22.00 and finished some video editing for my project until 01.00. Only until then, I could take a rest.

Those activities made me exhausted. Perhaps I will reduce my activities in the future.

Three weeks ago, my family and I were in my grandpa's hometown. It is our annual agenda every holiday at the end of Semester. Unfortunately, it was the rainy season there.

It rained almost every day there. We didn't have enough time to visit some tourist places there because of the rain. We had not enough sunlight even to dry up our laundry. As a result, we just stayed at home almost all day long.

Seeing the condition, we decided to make an interesting activity indoors to spend the holiday together. The activity we chose that day was making funny videos directed by me. Finishing the videos, we edited them and uploaded them to youtube.

By doing this, we could kill our boredom of staying at home because of the rain and make a creative activity instead.

Last Wednesday, I came late to my school because I played playstation until 2.00 am in the night. Because I woke up late.

I woke up about 6.30 am and the class would begin at 7.00 am. I ran to bathroom to take a bath. I usually had breakfast after taking a bath, but on that day I did not do that.

I always went to school by my motorcycle. But on that day, I forgot where I put the key. So, I went to the school by public transportation. It took me a longer time. I arrived at school at 7.15 am, I ran to my class but I saw my teacher had stood in front of the class to teach. I entered my class and of course my teacher was angry at me because I came late.

It was my bad experience and I hoped I would not do that again.

After arriving at the market, I started searching the tings I needed one by one. While I was bargaining the price of some fruits, I saw a crowded condition where there was a thief beaten by a lot of people. it was so terrible. I didn’t want to see the condition to get worse so I called police. A few minutes later, police came and calmed down the situation. Asking the fruit seller, I knew that the thief tried to steal someone’s wallet but someone saw him and shouted loudly. After that, suddenly many people roughed him up hardly.

It was a scaring moment I experienced last week and I hoped that it will never happen again in the future

Yesterday, my family and I went to the National Zoo and Aquarium to visit the new Snow Cubs and the other animals.

In the morning, when we got to the Zoo and Aquarium there was a great big line, so we had to wait awhile to get in.

After we entered the zoo, we went straight to the enclosure for the Snow Cubs. My brother and I were so excited to see them. They were so cute and playful.
At lunchtime Dad decided to cook a bbq. He cooked sausages so we could have sausage sandwiches. Mum forgot the tomato sauce so we had to eat them plain.

In the afternoon, we visited the aquarium. My brother was excited to see the sharks and the tropical fish. At the end of the day when we left we were going to go and get ice cream but we decided we were too tired so we drove straight home.

A Trip to Tempur Village

A few weeks ago, my family and I had a holiday trip to a tourist village called Tempur Village.

It is located in Jepara, Jawa Tengah. Surrounded by mountains, Tempur Village is a hidden gem that anyone will easily fall in love with.  

It was Saturday at noon when we finally touched down the village. When we arrived, all we saw was a green rice field.

We stopped by for a moment to take photos in front of a photo spot made by the local people. 

However, we thought differently because we had planned to do some fun activities together.

In the morning, we took care of our tiny garden after having delicious fried rice for breakfast. In our little garden, we planted some flowers, weeded the grass, and watered the plants.

In the afternoon, my mother led us to make homemade chocolate brownies which was a big success. My little sister was the first person to try it out. She liked it so much and asked for more and more.I never expected that spending weekends at home with family could be this interesting and fun. Next time, this will be another option for us to enjoy weekends.

After watching the video once, I followed it according to the steps shown in the video. It took me approximately 10 minutes of preparation and 30 minutes cooking.

When I finished cooking, I served the fried rice on a large plate. Afterwards, I served it for the family.

My mother and father said that my fried rice was tasty. But, my brother said that it was too spicy for him.

Turns out, cooking was an exciting activity. at m bloc we took a photoboth as a memento.

then after our photoboth we went to eat and do other things, after we felt we had enough we immediately went home and chatted.

During lunch time, we visited Pasar Klewer to eat delicious tengkleng by Bu Pon. In the dusk, we had some serabi Notosuman which was sweet, soft, and melted in the mouth.

After experiencing the taste of local menus, we went back to the hotel with full belly. All the traditional dishes that we tried were never disappointing.

Last summer, I went on a beach vacation with my family. We spent a week at a beautiful seaside resort. We swam in the crystal-clear water, built sandcastles, and enjoyed the sun. In the evenings, we would watch the sunset over the horizon. We also tried some delicious seafood at the local restaurants. It was a relaxing and memorable trip.

Experienced of Participating in an Event I had the best experience of my life in 2015. I participated in Asian-African Student Conference in Bandung.

I was interested in Asian-African Conference history and dreamed to be a part of it.

I prepared an essay and idea to be presented at that event. The other participants also helped me and gave me some idea for our committee discussion. I didn't talk too much, but it was a good experience for me.

Family House Party
Since morning my house has been very busy. My dad and my little brother lifted the couch and lay on the front porch while my mom and I busied ourselves in the kitchen. It was the 2nd day of Eid.

At 9 am, some family members, like my aunt and uncle, came from another city. It has become a tradition for our extended family to visit relatives on the 2nd of Eid. They came with souvenirs they brought from home. There are snacks, pastries, any fruit, and ketupat.

My family's house was chosen as the venue for a small house party because my mother was the first child in the family. It is a Javanese tradition to come to the eldest child's house when Eid arrives.

In the end, our family together cleaned my house before they came home. It really helped us after the house party. I love being at my extended family's house parties.

When we got the zoo, we went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals. After getting the food. We went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night. Before lunch, we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad nearly fell off when he let go of the rope. During lunch, we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon, we saw the animals being fed.

When we returned home, we were tired but happy because we had so much fun.
