Even though my Filipino grandparents immigrated from the Philippines, I barely know any Tagalog because my dad, who was born here, did not learn Tagalog.</div>]]></description>

While I definitely come from a place of privilege as white-passing, there's certainly a divide between my American and Greek identity, and there is definitely a romanticization/misinformation/mockery of my cultural history and some of the aspects to do with it. </div>]]></description>
