I’m very proud of the work we have achieved in the last 2 and a bit years as a team, and a brand new region. We don’t know what the future looks like, but I know their passion as pharmacy technicians will live on forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do.

‘What do you do?’ we hear people say!

Well let’s share just a little

About a Pharmacy Technicians day.

We’re out in the hospitals

And in patients homes.

Or maybe in a clinic,

Or in an office advising on the phone.

We might be out in uniform

Or in our civvies, is that you?

But whatever role we work in

We are pharmacy through and through

Some of us are clinical

And checking patient’s meds,

Or navigating through prescriptions

Ensuring patients are safe in their beds.

Some of us administer,

Some help with medicines independence

We’re also found all gowned up

Making chemo in aseptics

Some of us write policies

Or are education and training.

We answer all your questions

Whether on interactions or prescribing.

Ensuring safety’s our priority

Regardless of our role.

As part of the pharmacy family

Without any one of us there’s a hole.

In acute or community pharmacy,

In Justice or in mental health,

In the Forces or community services

We are there to do our best.

So please take a few moments
