People with autism in general have a hard time engaging in human interactions. Some specific symptoms in young children are:
-  Never making eye contact
-  Not responding to their name
-  Playing in strange ways
-  Delayed speaking 
-  Repetitive behaviors
-  Sensitivity to sounds, smells, textures, tastes
- Sleep problems
- Often acting hurt (physically)
