Are the superheroes good models? (title) First paragraph shows a research at Stanford university, and it was a experiment which let people to find and rescue a sick child. The participants were also made to feel as though they could fly like superman. After the mission, they found that people who had just flown like superman were not only quicker to help, but also picked 15 percent more pens. They thought that heroic behavior might transfer to helpful behavior in the real world. But some of the researchers said that children age three to four are believe superman because they are difficult to differentiate reality and fiction. So their behavior will become out of control. They also hope parents focus on the positive characteristic on their heroes instead of aggressive behavior. The other concern is the difference between today superheroes and yesterday superheroes ( in the comic book). It said today‘s superhero is aggressive and sarcastic. It also use an example, Tony Stark. (Iron man) But another professor is less critical of modern superheroes, he said superheroes will give children confidence and positive moral message. To sum up, superheroes give us more than just entertainment, we have to use well on them, for example, design good video games to train people empathetic instead of violent behavior.
