         <description><![CDATA[<div>- James Watt, a Scotsman, succeeded to construct the first stationary steam engine. He and his associates developed their design over the next few years , allowing machines to generate ample slow 6-8 mph train movement capacity. (1774)<br>-In Wakefield, West Yorkshire , England, the first railway opened above ground. The name "Lake Lock Rail Road" was given to it. It conveyed primarily coal with wagons operated by horses. (1800-1804)<br>- In London, the first public railway was established. It transported goods on a line that was 14 km long, via horsepower. (1803)<br>- In Leeds, Englishman Matthew Murray invented the first steam-based locomotive. Richard Trevithick publicly showcased his locomotive. (1804)</div>]]></description>
