Setting up a meeting in June for all new parents. For any new parents, asking families to come before the first day.

Having multiple parent meetings per year, and discussing different topics per table. For example one table is Learning Genie. And each teacher is in one table.

Providing flexible timing for parents that work. Part day parents have more flexibility than full day

Having an open house and have teachers engage parents with different topics by stations (LG, emergency cards, DRDP). Engaging teachers and encouraging them to talk to parents is key.

Include all teachers in the orientation process, not just the CD. This also helps parents be comfortable with teachers.

For HS centers, doing orientations after home visits. Showing parents where everything is in the center.
