One main way that the rain forest is affected negatively is by poaching and what that means “illegal hunting and capturing of wildlife…”(Wikipedia, 2021). The reason that these are problems is because it causes animals to either over-populate or go extinct which is a big problem with these environments. A lot of the times that people poach it is for key stone species and with that the environments like a rain forest can't keep up and wouldn't be able to function. The problem you have with poaching is very dangerous because every species in an ecosystem has a job weather its food or decomposing there is something specific for that species. One way that people, states, and countries deal with poaching is through prison and that people who poach and illegally hunt wildlife will serve time or pay a fine for their actions towards the illegal animal. Stating that one way that the people handle and try to stop poaching of illegal animals is through the consequence of jail or a fine.
