The track I was planing on pursuing was teaching multi subject studies. I went to Cal State Fullerton and received my bachelors in human services with an emphasis in teaching special education. After graduation, I spent six years away from the school setting until I returned to Argosy in 2013 which then I transferred to the Chicago school of professional psychology. In October, of 2016 I received my masters in marriage and family therapy from The Chicago school of Professional Psychology, Irvine. I completed my practicum at the youth reporting center in Anaheim where I worked in a probationary setting with adolescents as a bilingual therapist. Here I was able to teach anger management, girls group and substance-abuse classes. I volunteered at Orangewood Children and Family Services as a transitions group therapist for foster care children. I again taught at my practicing site in 2015-2016. I psycho educated clients on anger management, taught self worth and female concerns and substance abuse classes. I may not be able to kill a bug and desperately want world peace. I enjoy art and sell art on occasions if requested. I love people so much and want all people to strive. I will lend a hand when needed and more importantly, I lend an ear...sometimes to everyone. I am impatiently patient, but have more patients than needed for others. I enjoy going to the beach, kayaking and throwing myself from it, I enjoy fishing, traveling, giving and white water rafting. I a am an introverted extrovert and always learn about myself, daily. I am an Aries with a big heart for all people and I value uniqueness. I stand up for whats right and back down when I am wrong, but moving forward is key. I have been given chances to thrive and I repay them by being emphatic and understanding. My teaching style is active and creative and I am not afraid to bring joy, laughter and silliness if it gets the main points across. I love to teach like I love to learn and education is something that is an amazing opportunity.
