So you want to know what happen in Unit 1 and 2? Alright I will teach you it! In unit one you learned about Atoms and elements to start with like my class picked an atom from the ( spell check, preiodotc) table I did ' Lawrencium' aka " Lr" on the table . We also learned about mass and matter, like it canot be created or destoryed( You might want to keep that in your mind for latter). We learned alot just about how to draw elements and everything in side a atom. How does this go into today? Well when it's cold or raning maybe from your plant there are atoms falling on you or your breathing atoms. what do you mean you dont know what your breathing? Well on earth you breath O2 were your from I'm not very sure? ok why don't we move on to the next unit...

Now for Unit two you learned about " The Law of conservation of mass" and how to balnce chemical equation etc. Well first we learned about Chemical changes, Physical changes, Physical Properites, Exothermic, Endotherim. Those are big! Those Vocab is the main thing for all, I will go over ever word rq. Chemical changes, it canot be reversed, you can tell its happing when color changes, bubbling, temp change and gas or order is being produced. Physical changes, it can be reversed, size shape chnages, but the molecules stays the same. Physical properties, things you can use your five sense on. Exothermic, heat is being produced, Endothermic, it is getting cold. Now get that? good! Now, the law of conservation of mass is the law of mass and it go towrds Chemical equations. Here are some rulles. You CANOT touch the subscpit but you can change the coefficent( Coffecient, The big Number on the left, Subscprit small number on the right). It must be balnced! Thats were the coeffecint. Now everything I just told you do you have a better under standing of it? Thats great! I hope you will tell your friends about it. Adios!

It relates today because i just listed the basic thing you need to know in science to someone who doesnt know ANYTHING about it. So I stated the basic thing that I have learned during these units, so now this Alien just learned the periodic table and atoms and balncing equations so it relates to how US students learned the basic fatcs and how this alien just learned the basic fact.

I knew about the Atoms, periodic table, a little about unit two I had to dive back in for that one and etc. I didn't really learn anything new BUT I did learn how to explain to someone about the two units we learned!

I have gotten WAY better at understanding stuff in class! I remeber the first week of science I had no clue what any of those words meant or like what is that? what was an atom, etc. But now I know what the stuff is! I know what matter is, atoms, chemical equations! I have also added to what I have learned in STEAM & Science to a day to day life. For example, cooking or baking! STEAM had taught me a better way of mesuring and now I am extra careful with mesuring! I think I have improved a lot since the begning of the school year!
