I will ask other people if it is ok to post something about them first, because it could be embarrassing or mean without me knowing.

One example would be if I posted something with me and a friend without my friend's consent. I would be responsible for my and my friend's digital footprint.

I think one example of a lesson I can use is to not post or share pictures of me that I wouldn't want the public to see because they can be saved and shared to anyone.

I would only post good things about me and not post my friends without their permission. I would also not post pictures that would make me look bad.

By not posting pictures of myself that I would not want on the internet I save myself from the embarrassment of seeing a stray photo of myself in the internet.

I can respect other people and not download, screenshot other posts or take pictures of people and post them without their consent. Like this.

You can not post as much and tell people that have photos of you to not post them. And not posting pictures of others.

Something I would do to control my digital footprint is think about what I choose to post, make sure that they are positive, and take down my old posts after a certain amount of time so I don't have too many up at a time.

To make sure my digital footprint isn't bad I would make sure to think before I post and only post stuff that shows who I am and not who I am not or who others are or are not.
