What is the point of a myth?
A myth is a founding narrative, an anonymous and collective story that fulfills a socio-religious function. It's most often used as an element of cohesion between the individual in a group. The myth depicts characters most often superhuman who have supernatural powers but also human behavior and feelings. Myth is a word, which refers to the ancient event full of meaning: in primitive societies, it serves as an explanation of the world, how things started and why men are here today. He is considered true. In the composition, it's often short and of a perfect arrangement. Every details is loaded with meaning. Scientific thought has failed to make them disappear.

A myth can be revisited in different forms. It can be revisited in a film, a book, a story... The myth is sometimes revisited in a contemporary way, that is to say that the myth is revisited with the contemporary style.
