1. Identity diffusion: Not having any understanding of who you are or what you want to achieve in life. In my opinion I can see this as a young teenager entering freshman year, not knowing what you want to do with your life and just trying to figure out who you are. 
2. Identity foreclosure: Made a commitment to future but without exploring options and never exploring your beliefs. This could be like someone who says I want to go to college but not sure what for and settle on junior college instead of exploring other college options.

3. Identity moratorium: Have explored options but never make a commitment. Have questioned beliefs. In my opinion this person knows who they are but haven't set any goals or achievements. I went through this when I first started college I explored different subject to see what spiked my interest but never made a commitment until later in my life. 
4. I feel like I'm in the identity achievement. I have explored my option and some options I probably shouldn't have.
