Whiten Resumes Get more Job Interviews

As a detective I was concerned in how minorities need to whitened their curriculums in order to get more job interviews. I choosed this topic in order to bust this myth because I believe nowadays being a minority and not being prepare is something that is simply not real. As time goes by everyone is getting more prepared therefore we should break the stereotype that people have on races. In 2016 25% of black people who whitened their resume got called back but only 10 percent got called back if they mentioned their ethnicity. When it comes to Asians, 21% got called back when whitening their resume but only 11.5 got called back while leaving their ethnicity intact.

The white-black wealth gap.

i As a detective one of the most eminent clues of systematic racism is the economic gap between black and white people. I choosed this topic because I feel that opportunities are not the same for both races, therefore the gap in wealth remains a thing. A close examination on the wealth of families across America show that in 2016 the typical wealth of a white family is $171,000 while a black family $17,000 dollars 90% more!

One of the main questions about racism would be : How is it possible that racism doesn’t just go away? Well the answer to this question is that racism is embedded in the social tissue of humanity whether we want it or not. Nowadays racism is a common thing in society and used or mocked about in our daily lives. The only way for it to end is to removed it from the social tissue.
