My degree is a Bachelor's of Science in Education with a concentration in K-12 Art. 

This is my first class towards my Master's, and starting at this point in my life was a spur of the moment decision. I wanted to wait till I was a little older, but I am SUPER excited to go ahead and tackle this new challenge. I plan to accelerate my masters and graduate in April of 2022.

I started in elementary school where they had us take a class, and then I joined after school. I also competed in competitions and received medals. The students just became one to one with Chromebooks, and I have been having kindergarten through 4th upload their artwork through Google Classroom and Google Slides. 

I created a bitmoji classroom this year for them to have access to and play art related games, or have access to educational videos and books. 

I was teaching on a cart, so all my resources were stored in Google Drive for me to access in each room. When we go back to my classroom, I will be able to use my resources in my room, and use my HoverCam to demonstrate. Other than that I have been sparse on technology use in my own classroom, because I only have two iPads that the students can use. The students are not allowed to carry their Chromebooks, so I will lose access to that. I use Google Drive for any and every thing that I do. It is what I use to track my bills, spending, my house paperwork, my to do lists, my assignments, and many more things. It keeps it all in one place, and it helps me stay organized. 

I also like to use Procreate on my iPad to work on my digital art. This is calming for me, but it also teaches me new skills that I can teach to my students as well.

I also want to learn ways to incorporate more technology with limited resources, because I feel it is important for students to learn these new skills that this century is bringing. 

I feel fairly comfortable with technology, since this is something I grew up with. I am only 23, and feel that my college did a great job in educating me different ways I could use technology.
