I think that expand the open hours is a good idea because it's a usefull service for all those people who don't have time to buy during the commercial schedule.
In Barcelona for example there are people on the street at any time so with this supermarket open they can go until 2pm.

I'm not complete agree with the graph, because In my case I spend part of my budget in restaurants and travel, because I prefer spend my money in things that I use more or enjoy more, than things that I lose faster. But it’s real that when I meet with friends I usually buy some snacks for pass the time.

In my opinion, I think it's a good idea that supermarkets still open at night because for a lot of people this option do very well because it can combine with work.

Also I think there will be more jobs, and as well put in the article, the economy people will not be a problem because they aren't required to buy each day.

I disagree with is article because in my opinion this information is false. The actually teenagers consume a lot tobacco and all types of alcoholic beverages. I think that these two products are the most consumed by teens. Personally, my first money destination is in tobacco because I smoke every day, my second money destination could be beer, food and party.

I think that this graph isn’t real because young people don’t spend more money in alcohol that in clothe.

I look an excessive consumption in snacks.

In my case, the graph it’s too different.

I don’t spend money in mobile phone because my parents pay my mobile factures, I spend more in tabacco than in alcohol.

On the other hand I don’t’ spend money in home entertainment.

I agree with this article because people goes to different supermarkets depend of the prices of the products. For example: Mercadona for milk, Carrefour for fish and Día for cleaning products. There are some people that goes always to the same Supermarket to buy all the thinks, they don't matter if they pay 1 or 2 euros more.

In my opinion I think that the article says the reality about what happen in Spain. Currently the people are more carefully with the prices because the economic crisis and they are looking for the best offer.

However, the opening hours are more extended because the majority of people work the whole day and they do not have time to go for shopping. I think that is a good point for the costumers because it is very usefully for the people that do not have time because they are working. What’s more usefully is that when you need something at midnight you have some shops open to buy it.

Fortunately, the extended hours help to create more jobs in Spain.

According to the graph, the top three categories of adolescents´ spending are Sweets & Snacks, Non-Alcoholic Drinks, and Cell Phones. When I was a teenager, this was certainly not true for me. I think it´s very inaccurate. In the US, at least, parents usually pay for teens´phone bills and often give them money for food & drinks. I spent most of my money on transportation (paying insurance and gas for my car) and on activities with friends like going to the cinema.

in my oppinion this graph
it's incorrect because teens spend money on other things.
I think teens spend money on alcohol, tobacco, parties and this kind of things.
for example, the top three in the list would be different. But on the other hand it's possible that this month they have spent money on those things but teens usually spend their money in other things.
also I thing that the current state of the economy does not allow to spend the money that teens want.

In my opinion, you could say that today buy more for prices for tastes. As a result of the crisis the entrepeneur have created more supermarkets, hypermarkets and small familia businesses have been affected.

It is good that these hours have been extended because it creates more work and above all our needs , as consumers, are covered at all times.

I don't share this opinion with this graphic because I think that is more important to spend our money on culture and entertainment instead on sweets, candies or drinks.
Sometimes is a good way to disconnect from the world and go out whit your friends and consume some drinks but all have it's limits!

on food ''junk'' sweets, alcohol, most modern technology...

But I think also , that data is reflected in the graph that are not shared by everyone , for example , there are people who would like to spend money on good restaurants, health and beauty ... and today fast food is something that takes a lot because different stores have opened fast food widely used by people who have a lot of work in their daily lives.

I agree with Irene that having extended hours is a good way to provide more Jobs and meet the needs of shoppers (I have always had a 24-hour supermarket only 15 minutes from home--this idea is not new in the US). For me it is very interesting to see shopping habits in Spain becoming more supermarket based, because in the US the opposite is happening. People are starting to shop more and more at markets and specialty shops. Street markets are more popular now, and there is a movement to ¨shop local.¨ However, in Spain and the US it is normally cheaper and quicker to shop at the supermarket, so markets and specialty shops are becoming a luxury rather than a tradition

In my view, in some respects if I agree with the chart, as I if I reflect my habits in some cases such as buying snacks from time to time, if I pay a high share of mobile telephony but the business conditions and rates offered, on the other hand my habits consume clothes are not very high and I buy for summer seasons or when sales are reflected, my parents pay me the public protractors so I do not have any spending, my habits consumer health or beauty, entertainment are low because very little consumption and restaurants would have a lower monthly payment because I once or twice a month with my friends. I have to finish, I do not entertain at home and do not usually eat fast food daily, but would define it as a sporadic consume.

More or less I agree with what is reflected in the graph. Most of my money often is intended for sweets, but for example, as I don’t have a driving license then I won’t have any expense on it. All percentages are very similar to my day to day , although in the health and beauty section is reduced.

Time is more valuable than money . You can get more money , but you can not get more time .

In my opinion, the article is a little bit exaggerated because I don’t knows the reality just that. It’s true that Spanish society it’s based on the consumerism but not at these levels.
As well discussed in the article, there are certain establishments that are engaged in selling late in the morning and therefore do not need that large supermarkets are open also at night, since large purchases are made during day and these are for emergencies.

In my case, after seeing the graph I'm not quite agree with this top. I prioritize food either in restaurants or fast food, followed by snacks and entertainment. For me it is more important to the stomach clothing or other secondary things.
Clothing is also important but not as often bought as above and is why we would have a lower percentage in my chart.
Soft drinks are also food-related, then would occupy a place near the food, on the other hand the spirit estraria below what is in this ranking because it is not consumed daily.
Transport and mobil would be located in the middle of the graph and end home entertainment and health and beauty.
In conclusion, I prioritize more feeding and drinking because they are necessary to maintain a healthy life.

Nowadays the actual social economy doesn’t allow teenagers to spend a lot of money, fact that makes sweets and snacks sweeter to our wallet. Also non-alcoholic beverage follows the same principle, as a cheap way to spend money. But, why is mobile telephony so appreciated? It is probably the biggest way where we spend money, even if the economy goes bad or you can’t really afford it. I agree with this article. In the lasts years, Spanish people are changing the way to buy. For example, you can buy anytime in Carrefour and before this situation was impossible.

In Spain, recent years have seen the phenomenon that people do not make a large purchase for the whole month, but made small purchases of what they need at the time.

In my opinion this is bad for business and earning less but for customers is more effective and cheaper and in the end that is what they want, bids and reduce your expenses so this is an improvement for the population but a step back for the companies.

I am in favor of this change as I am consumer and this favoreze me.

The influence of the Chiina economy that has so saturated in our country has paid off and now buys more detail that the package (consumer profile).
