When using a biome as a site for food production, particularly when looking towards the future it is used wisely in order to maintain human and natural resources. 
 
Due to uncontrolled and illegal logging, rainforests all around the world especially in the amazon region, Indonesia, Malaysia have been destroyed and countless animals and plants have been lost. In Indonesia and Malaysia an estimated 42% of tropical rainforest is lost to logging each year due to the absence of proper rainforest management.

With deforestation continuing at such a fast rate, we may have created the most rapid extinction rate in history. 140 rainforests are unfortunately exterminated completely everyday.
 
Food production has changed rainforests by people cutting down trees this is leaving less oxygen in the world it also leaves rainforests unattractive. We should not be cutting down trees for products that we can recycle and reuse over again. It is wasting our trees, animals and oxygen and plant life in rainforests. If deforestation continues for food from the rainforest we may completely lose rainforests within the next 40-50 years.

These foods are produced from plants/trees. They are grown then removed from the rainforest and taken to be prepared to be sold at a supermarket.
