         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>This source wants to explain how the riots started, the after math, what happened during it, and the damages it caused.  It wants you to learn the timeline from the beginning to the end.</p><p><br/></p><ol start="2"><li><p>The article talks about how a man named Marquette Frye was driving home after a night out with his brother when a police officer pulled him over and made him take a sober test, which he failed. He was angry and when the cop were trying to arrest him a fight broke out.  This was just the beginning of many riots that lasted for 6 days. Many people were getting blamed, some said it was Frye's fault some people said the cops were to blame.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><ol start="3"><li><p>  This article is for anyone anyone who wants to learn the importance of this event and how it unfolded. The publisher does a really good job on executing this event clearly for the readers as well as some background. explanation. </p></li></ol><p><br/></p><ol start="4"><li><p>This article uses rhetorical resources to back up some of the claims used. For example it uses articles to back up their claim of how the watts rebellion was made to show black people and how they struggled. </p></li></ol><p><br/></p><ol start="5"><li><p> This source makes sure you know the right information and the backstory to why people thought a certain way and blamed certain people.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><ol start="6"><li><p> In this article there is not really a problem, there are a lot of details that would help many people.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><ol start="7"><li><p>This article tells you everything you need to know about the Watts rebellion and more. It starts off by talking about the time period they were in and the backstory about everything going on at the time and end with the the aftermath of the event. Therefore it is a good resource with lots of information. </p></li></ol></li></ol>]]></description>

It also gives information about how the civil rights movement played a role in it.</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>The article is for people who want to be informed about the background of the watts rebellion and how that affected people during the time.</p><p><br></p></li><li><p> This source uses rhetorical appeal to back up its information. It also uses emotion by describing the negative effect it had on people.</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>This source gives background information on why specifically people were mad at the arrest. At the time the civil rights movement was still going on and black people felt like people went seeing the problems they were facing.  </p><p><br></p><p>7. This article shows less of the background of this event and more of what people did and how they reacted to the event. It could have a little more background info. </p><p><br></p><p>7. This source has good info on what this event symbolized. Therefore I don't really see any major issues with this passage.</p><p><br></p><p>7.This source is good  for you to learn the civil right background aspect of how the riots start.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><ol><li><p>The purpose is to inform viewers on the destruction that the world was going through at the time and how they dealt with it.</p></li></ol><ol start="2"><li><p>This video talks about the 50th anniversary of these riots and explains with footage what happened and where it took place.  </p></li><li><p>Its audience is for people who didn't know about the event to learn about it even if it was years ago. </p><p><br></p></li><li><p>The video comes off as more of a logical and emotional.  The way the reporter talks about the situation and the video footage of things being burned and people's reactions.</p></li><li><p>There are not really any negatives about this video it does not give biased opens but instead looks at both view points.</p></li><li><p>The video uses real footage to help you understand the riots. It also shows how the police and fire forces handled the situation.</p></li><li><p> This source successfully tells you that story and outcome of what happens during the night, with video footage of how quickly it escalated.</p><p><br></p></li></ol>]]></description>
