You need to know what type of car you're working with and all the specs. That would be very useful because you'll know what might be the problem ahead of time. For example, Chrysler released a car a few moths ago called the Chrysler 200. This sedan was selling well and all of a sudden the transmissions from the car started to break down. Lot of mechanics knew about this and when they saw a Chrysler 200 pull up most of the time it was for the transmission and the mechanics knew what to do.
