I believe that it's important to understand and have a background on stereotypes that affect not asians, more specifically, for my topic, Chinese Americans. This allows a deeper understanding of what they're facing, and it can also inform a person that they still face these stereotypes to this day. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Since it comes from a peer-reviewed journal through my school’s database, I know I can trust the information it provides. What stood out to me is how the study explains the impact of discrimination on people’s identity and the ways they cope, which gives me useful evidence to build my argument. Choosing this source also shows that I’m drawing from serious academic research instead of less reliable websites.</p>]]></description>
