Money makes the world goes around. Being materialistic makes people greedy that they will do whatever possible ways to become richer and putting aside their moral values. People tend to loan money from the “loan shark” or banks to fulfill their personal desires such as buying expensive jewelleries and luxurious cars or houses. As a result, the debtors have to pay large amount of money to the money lender which some could not afford to pay back since the money lender will charge higher interest to them.

Apart from that, materialistic might lead to corruption. Some rich people tends to commit more “white-collar” crime since they have the position and money to influence other people especially the law enforcers. They can commit any social crimes since they have the money and power to bribe the law enforcers. This leads to the rising of the crimes and poverty takes place. 

Materialistic people tend to suppress poorer people. They will use every available means to ensure that the rest of the people in the society remain poor. The aspect of materialism is more distinguish in the third world countries, where leaders driven by greed and in the process embezzle public funds to maintain their status. Take for example, a rich person giving loan to a poor farmer with high interest. Being unable to pay for the loan and the interest, that rich person will confisticate the farmer’s land. Therefore, people who are poor will opt for part-time jobs while the more desperate ones would turn to crime which resulting to all sorts of social problems.

In conclusion, being materialistic is not a crime. We need to work hard to earn more money. For me, I believe that money is not everything in life. It is undeniable that without ones cannot survive in this modern world. Having a lot of money is meaningless when the person’s life is not happy. Money is a great servant but a bad master.

            In today’s society, materialism takes part in every person’s life, no matter what social class they are.  It is safe to say that everybody is materialistic to a certain extent.  There are many factors that go into a person being materialistic based on the materials that they have. 

            Being materialistic also leads to people living the life more than they could afford.  The desire to live luxurious lifestyles has forced them to live in debts.  For example, the monthly payment that they need to make for the hire purchase of branded cars and houses.  Apart from that, the never ending interest of credit cards, people sometimes find themselves short of money to get by way before their pad day. 

            Materialism has also affected people’s attitudes.  Since they cannot afford the treats in life yet desire it, they can turn to a life of crime for the resolution to satisfy their materialistic needs.  This can be observed through the increasing crime rates for theft, break-ins, snatch thefts, frauds, blackmail, kidnapping for ransom and bank account hacking. 

            Political corruption is the mother of all corruption.  Wherever leaders are politically corrupt, they will do anything to get and retain power without considering national interest.  We place too much emphasis on materialistic and mundance things and this is affecting our priorities; we are too self-centered and materialistic. 

            In conclusion, the truly important things in life, however, are those which cannot be encountered by the physical senses, purchased with money, or placed on a shelf.  When we take a look at what we value most in life, we generally find family, friends, health, peace, contentment, laughter, helping others and communion with God foremost on our list of priorities.

                Materialism is a form of exessively concerned with physical comforts or acquisition of wealth and material possessions, rather than with spiritual, intellectual or cultural values.I think people are becoming more materialistic and this affected people, modern society and the modern country’s economy.

                As time proceeds into a modern era, money and materialism have seen one of the most influential forces in the money. Some  may think that money and wealth is the wayu of life. They believe  that everything luxurious in the world only by accumulating money and wealth.

                Materialistic is geared people towards making more money. This is so that they can afgford life like a spacious lifestyle. In addition, people work hard to earn more income for the purpose of affording expensive and branded items such as iphones, Channel Handbags  and tablets.A materialistic lifestyle make people more focused on wealth and improving living standards, they tent to forget matters that are substantial in life those are health, family and friends. 

                Materialistic also caused people have lack of spiritual and moral beliefs. Some people are jobless or have low income can also develop materialistic. Since they cannot afford the luxurious life, they can turn to a crime life. This can be proven by the increasing number of crime rates of theft, break-ins, snatch thefts, frauds and bank account hacking. A materialistic mind-set can drive people to overspend or by things that they cannot afford yet. This will give a dominon effect on the country’s economy. Meanwhile, by spending power of the society can help to boost the economy. However, when people overspend to unused using plactics money or credit cards and take loans that they cannot afford to reimburse them. The country will have that margin which is surely rise. 

                In conclusion, nowaday, being materialistic is a common. For me, I believe  that money is not everything in life. It is not true that without ,money, one cannot survive in this harsh world, but having money in grateful way in meaning to have a happy life and healthy.

Education is the most important factor in the development of a country. Discuss. 

            Education is important for a country to grow.  In my opinion, I agree that education is the most important factor in the development of a country.  Whether it is economically or socially, education plays a vital role in the growth of these two factors.  In this era of globalization, competition between countries has become more and more frequent.  Most of the people who is living in the developed countries have highly educated. 

            Firstly, in life, people can live without education but education is the fastest way in helping people to improve their knowledge and experiences.  A country with a strong education system can most definitely develop in the future.  In the developing country, improving citizen’s learning is very important because their attitude towards a question can influence on development of the country. They have been taught the values in school, colleges and work places. 

            Secondly, in all country especially developing countries, the way to develop is do own self.  In some countries, the government invests a big part of the profits in weapons but it’s really waste of money.  The long investment is in education.  For example, with a good education system, people can study easily, they can overtake the newest technology then they can apply in their life. 

            The last and also the most important thing, education helps in getting good jobs.  It goes without saying that unless a person is educated, he or she cannot get a worthwhile job.  Unemployment is a serious obstacle in the development and progress in a country’s economic status.  The economic status of so many countries in the world is pathetic, due to the lack of educated people who do not possess adequate skills and thus are unemployed. 

            All in all, people must realise that education is the most vital thing in the development of the country.  People cannot do anything without education and their country cannot develop.  All people must be aware of the importance of education and all families guide their children in the way through education.  If they do so, they will certainly see its benefits on the human life.
