However, you may make any changes you wish to the project.  You may decorate it using any method or element/principle of art of your choice (Objective or Non-objective). After completion of the project, you will post a photo of your work on this website, and make a post answering the following questions:  

1. What did you make? Describe your work, and what Elements/Principles of art are present. (3-4 complete sentences)
2. What processes did you use in the completion of your work? (3-4 complete sentences)
3. Why did you choose to make this artwork? Explain what you liked about this project before and why. (3-4 complete sentences) 

Be prepared to share your photo and answers to the questions on the day of the Final Exam, December 14-15.  Be sure to title your post with your full name.

I scored amd slipped it to buy the slab sides together. As a whole, it focuses on shape because the goose is an object found in nature.
2. The processes I used include scoring, slipping, and slabs. I rolled out the slabs and traced the paper version of my box. Then I angle cut, scored and slipped the sides to hold it all together.
3. I chose to make it because my box was not the best of my projects. I also liked doing my projects in the shapes of animals so I decided to do a goose. It was supposed to be a pacman. But I made it into a frog with a hat.
I slipped and scored two halves of a cirlce together. Then I slipped a tongue into the mouth. And then added a top hat.
I made this because my first sphere wasn't good. I made a pineapple out of a sphere. It focuses on shape because pineapples are present in nature. It is also objective which is defined visually because you can tell it's a pineapple.
2. I used two half spheres, scored, slipped, and welded them together. After that, I added clay and extracted clay to create textures similar to those of a pineapple. Then, I used underglaze to color the leaves.
3. I wanted to make it at the beginning of the year. I didn't though because I didn't know how to. I made a rectangular prism without a lid. I had to measure out a rectangle shape for all four sides. Then i slipped and scored the four sides together. I tried to focus on the art that was cutout of my box.
2. I used four 20x13" rectangles for the base. Then i used a 13x13" square for the bottom base. The process i used included the use of the slab roller, slipping, scoring and the removal of clay.
3. I chose to make this piece because its a lot different than my first box i made. The cutouts on each side match and it looks very nice. I made a cup. I engraved a patter into the cup, as well as a small point of emphasis with "r.i.p. Max" engraved as well. I also used the element of organic shapes to make the design.
2.i first rolled a slab. I then used a template to cut the clay in the correct shape, and then welded it together. To make the design, I used a needle tool.
3. I made a cup because it was the easiest and most useful thing that was made all semester. I made a cup that has grooves at the bottom and a L and T on it that are attached to eachother. The L and T are extratcted on the front of the cup. There is a groove that is a ring around the bottom. 2. I used a McDonald's cup for the shape of the cup and I used the needle tool to make the lt outline. I used a pear trimmer to carve it out and my fingers to put the dents on the bottom. 3. I was inspired to do this because I like to make cups and the designs you can make. I picked this design because it has my initials and the bottom looks like a kings cup. I made a small cup with a pourer spout thing on the side. It has a basic, thin handle. It has a circular shape all around besides the spout part. There is no detail on it because I though it would look better if it was simple. 
2.  I rolled out a slab and started to make a cup. I want the bottom to be bigger than the top, so I pushed the bottom part out. I added the pourer part by making 2 triangles and pushing them together. I slipped and scored everything I added.  3. I made this because I wanted to do a pitcher but more smaller. I looked it up on the internet and found something like it. I made a sphere.  I initially wanted to make a PAC-man.  After observing it I decided that it looked more like a frog. I added a small top hat to the left side of the head as an accessory.
2. I slipped and scored two halves of a sphere together. I then used a needle tool to slice approximately a 6" strip to make a tongue and placed it into the mouth of the frog.  For the hat, I made a small wheel shape for the base. I then made a 1" cylinder by rolling it on the table to make the shape and added it to the base. 
3. I wanted to make a PAC-MAN initially to go along with Q-bert. 1. I made a vase. Its an ironman vase that has the face of ironman. It is a shape of a head for the bottom. 
2. I started the base as a pinch pot and carved my design into the face. Then I stared making the top cylinder by making a coil. Then I flatten it then I carved Iron man on front and back.
3. I don't really know why I made it, it was just the only good idea I had to make. This is the first vase I've made so I wanted it to be unquie and different.
