I say this because in the text, Josh is very curious about why are weird things are going on at the house he is staying in. He also looks around the house and try to ask questions but the aunt won't answer him. The other reason why I said that he was funny because he would always find a way to make the most random things into a funny joke or something. If this character was in the book, Oliver would visit his and will be by his side, searching for clues around the scary house with Josh and more.
